Ruffner Greenhouse Native Plant Sale – Spring Edition!

Spring is here, and that means it’s time for the popular Native Plant Sale at Ruffner Mountain Greenhouse! Warmer temperatures, longer days, and seasonal rains make spring the perfect time to add native plants to your landscape. These plants are adapted to our local climate, require less maintenance, and support vital pollinators like bees, butterflies, and birds.
Join us every Saturday in April from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Ruffner Greenhouse, where you’ll find a variety of native plants from Ruffner Mountain and Turkey Creek Nature Preserve. Whether you're looking to enhance your backyard habitat, attract pollinators, or simply enjoy the beauty of Alabama’s native flora, you’ll find plenty of options to choose from. Members receive 10% off their purchase and have early access on April 5th from 8am-10am. Learn more about membership.
Why Choose Native Plants?

  • Require less water, fertilizer, and pesticides.
