Night Festival: A Nocturnal Celebration of the Natural World

What happens while we sleep?

The arts can be a powerful and compelling way to connect individuals to an ecological concept. Therefore, Ruffner has invited visual artists and musicians to present works inspired by those elusive natural processes that happen when we're not awake.

Event Itinerary

6:30pm - Doors Open

Nature Center:

(Ongoing: Educational exhibits, artwork, merchandise table, native plants for sale)

7:00pm - Musical performance by Cnida
                Puppetry by Squeaking Tribe

8:00pm - Musical performance by Marc Harris

9:00pm - Musical performance by TENGEN

10:00pm - Musical performance by First Kentucky Post

 

Pavilion:

(Ongoing: Mothing station, kids craft station)

7:30pm - Puppetry by Squeaking Tribe

8:30pm - Bird of Prey program by the Alabama Wildlife Center



Light snacks available while supplies last from Joshua Blackwell
Treats available for purchase from Ono Ice

Spaces for nighttime picnicking will be available.
