Join Michelle Reynolds for an evening stroll through the Habitat Gardens surrounding the Nature Center, and find out how you can create an optimal nocturnal habitat in your own yard.
We’ll enjoy the transition from day to night as we tour the campus and discuss the native plants featured in the Habitat Gardens, as well as the wildlife they attract. As we look and listen for the creatures that go to bed at twilight, nocturnal wildlife such as frogs, bats, insects, and birds will just be awakening to begin their nightly processes.

As a nonprofit nature preserve, many of Ruffner Mountain's free public programs have limited capacity. For this reason, we ask that you give advanced notice if your plans change and you are unable to attend this program. We will make your space available for another participant.
