Join Girls Who Hike Alabama (GWHAL) and Jefferson County Greenways for a hike celebrating women coming together to enjoy nature!

The hike will be an around 2 miles at a leisurely pace. The group will be stopping along the way to look, feel and absorb nature. If you have binoculars, please feel free to bring them because there is always time to go birding.

Meet at the the falls recreation area parking lot. The hike will start on Hanby Hollow Trail (0.9 miles) then take the Thompson Trace Trail (approximately 1 mile) back to the parking lot.

Please bring a snack, water and appropriate clothing for the weather.

Girls Who Hike AL is a female only hiking group that has ambassadors all over this beautiful state that lead hikes/education programs/outdoor activities all for free!
