Event Description

Are you new to the world of birding? Do you want to be a birder but don't know where to start? Join our Naturalists at Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve for a fun-filled class that will introduce you to the key principles of beginner birding. This class is intended for people who are birding novices. We will cover field guide usage, gear recommendations, how to use binoculars, bird anatomy, and more.  We will end the class with a short excursion to our Habitat Garden where you'll get a chance to try out your new identification skills.  We hope you can join us!
