Have you ever seen the inside of a turtle shell? Discover the native turtles of Ruffner Mountain’s Nature Center in this wildlife encounter. For this kid-friendly program, we will meet a softshell turtle, a box turtle, and more! Learn about the different diets and adaptations of these species and how we can help conserve their populations. We will have a turtle craft for the kids following the program.
