What raptors are native to Alabama? Also known as birds of prey, raptors are essential predators for our ecosystems. During this kid-friendly wildlife program, we will meet a broad winged hawk and an eastern screech owl. We will discuss their habitats, diet and unique adaptations that help them survive. At the end, dissect an owl pellet to discover the remains of the owl’s meal (1 pellet per family)!
