Visual Ecology with Doug Baulos: Lifecycle Calligraphy Contours

Participants will create and experiment with ink and drawing tools made from plants at Ruffner. We will use leaf, insect, and animal plastic contours and talk about identification in the forest through silhouette. Participants will gain useful knowledge of creating inks and paints from local plant sources as well as myriad drawing and calligraphy techniques useful for illustration, drawing, and journaling.
