Well, you’re in luck because on Saturday, August 27, Ruffner Mountain, Mountain High Outfitters, and Birmingham Mountain Radio are teaming up for the first annual Outside Birmingham, an outdoor event where we give you the chance to hit the trail and try out the newest in camping and outdoor gear and accessories.

Stations will include: Packs & Poles, Hammocks & Tents, Cooking & Water Filtration, Orienteering, and Trail Running. There’s really going to be something here for everyone. While you’re there you can enjoy a beer courtesy of Cahaba Brewing, Octane coffee, and learn more about making you’re outdoor experience the safest and the best that it can possibly be from Ruffner’s very own wildlife curators.
