To show our appreciation for member support, we are offering members a guided night hike and other mothing activities to celebrate National Moth Week! National Moth Week celebrates the beauty, life cycles, and habitats of moths. You can read more about it here.

Join us on Friday, July 29 from 7:30 pm — 10:00 pm along with moth enthusiasts, Dr. Pete Van Zandt and Stott Noble, who will set up mothing sheets for participants to identify moth species. Ruffner naturalists will lead an optional night hike that will be approximately one mile in length up the Quarry Trail. The hike is recommended for ages 5 and up. Please wear hiking shoes and bring water and a headlamp if you have one.

Please Note: This event has limited capacity (30 participants max). Please only register if you can attend.

Waitlist: If this program is at capacity, a waitlist will automatically open for it. Please add your name to the waitlist by selecting the green "Register" button and completing the form; you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite soon after. Only if a space becomes available, you will receive a second email inviting you to register within 48 hours of the event.
