Lichen: Plant? Fungus? What is it?

Join Naturalist Carl Sloan for this lecture and hike to discover the world of lichens. We will examine the intricacies of this wonderful organism, including what makes them so unique and the role they play in our ecosystems. The first portion of this program will be a presentation in the Nature Center. Then we will head out on the trails to find the various lichens found on the mountain.
