Invasive Removal Volunteer Training Day

Ruffner Conservation Director, Jamie Nobles, will instruct volunteers on the proper way to identify and remove the invasive species, stiltgrass (Microstegium vimineum) from Ruffner Mountain trails.
We will meet at the South East Lake entrance at 1214 81st Street South from 8:00 am-noon.
Reminders:
- Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.
- Bring a water bottle.

Gloves will be provided.
- Training is not appropriate for small children.

All volunteers must complete a Ruffner Mountain waiver to participate.
