Ever wonder what type of trees you're hiking, biking, or running past at RMP? Learn more about the different varietals of trees, both native and exotic, around Red Mountain Park. The two-mile hike will be along the BMRR South Trail and will feature approximately twenty-five common Alabama forest trees. It will be led by Henry Hughes, who studied forestry at the University of the South and teaches Native Forest Tree Identification through Alabama Audubon.

Please meet us at the picnic tables near the park's entrance. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
