New to the Mountain? Have questions about Ruffner's wildlife? Ever wondered about the geology? Prepare for red-stained shoes as we join Naturalist Carl Sloan for a guided hike along Ruffner's trails. On our way, Carl will point out some unique aspects of the Mountain and we may even find a salamander or two. This hike has moderate inclines with varied terrain and is approximately 2.5 miles roundtrip.
