For this family friendly program, discover the details of Ruffner's mining history and how Birmingham became "The Magic City." With history buff and Vulcan docent, Gary Bostany as our guide, we will hike to an iron crusher and mine site #3 to observe the relics that were left behind. This hike is approximately 1.5 miles roundtrip and consists of varried terrain with inclines.

We recommend ages 10 and up to attend. Spaces are limited so reserve your spot by completing a waiver for EACH participant.
