Ruffner Mountain will join Cawaco RC&D Council, City of Birmingham Stormwater Department, The Nature Conservancy, and Village Creek Society on Sunday, November 11th to continue restoring the Village Creek bed and to plant a native tree canopy at East Lake Park.

This work day is a part of the Upper Village Creek Tree Canopy Restoration project. The Upper Village Creek Tree Canopy Restoration project is a funding recipient of Gulf Power and Southern Company through their partnership with the The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
