Work Sites will span the mountain, from our Eastside Park property, to our Nature Center, to Ruffner Road. This is a great opportunity to get out and engage with your community, and maybe get your hands a little dirty in the process.
***This workday we will be weeding and improving the habitat demo garden next to the nature center. Volunteers please wear closed toed shoes and bring water and gloves if you have them (Ruffner will have extra pairs if needed). Keep in mind with spring in full swing, there is poison ivy present and volunteers are also advised to dress appropariately, long sleeves and pants are ideal. We will need around 10 volunteers to help with this project.
