FrogWatch USA provides individuals, groups, and families opportunities to learn about wetlands in their communities by reporting on the calls of local frogs and toads.
This year Ruffner will be holding its 2017 Frogwatch at the Wetlands area of Ruffner Mountain. This will be a 4 hour event, beginning at the Nature Center, where a 2 hour lecture will be held. After the lecture, we will carpool to the Wetlands for the Frogwatch itself. Be sure to wear sturdy, close-toed shoes. Flashlights, especially red spectrum flashlights, are useful but not required.
If you plant to attend, please fill out a waiver form and complete registration below. Families or those who are bringing children, please notify us in the Message field of the registration form how many you plan to bring. Thanks!
REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST!
