Jefferson County Greenways is partnering with Alabama Audubon to conduct a bird banding on Saturday, February 22nd.

Join us at the Ruffner Mountain pavilion to see birds and bird banding up close! You’ll get an excellent look at some of the birds that overwinter at Ruffner and learn about how and why we use banding as a tool to study these birds.

Registration is not required. You can come and go as you please, any time between 8:00 AM and 1 PM.
