Meg Ford, Programs Coordinator
A classically-trained violinist, Meg is talented at keeping loose strings, and staff members, together, and in harmony. At Birmingham-Southern College, where she got a Bachelors of Music degree, Meghan sang in the Concert Choir and Hilltop Singers. At Jones Valley Teaching Farms, she monitored and assessed educational programs. She also worked for the Alabama Symphony and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. At Alabama School of Fine Arts, she was a resident advisor, supervising dorm students. All of these experiences combine to give Meg outstanding training in coordinating harmonious, cooperative activities set in a natural environment framed by choruses of birds, symphonies of forest sounds and concertos of human voices. And you didn’t think it all tied together, did you? Frankly, it took us a minute to figure it out.
