FrogWatch USA is a nation-wide citizen science initiative to track frog and toad populations. At Ruffner, we hold FrogWatch USA Volunteer Certification classes each year, consisting of two components: Lecture and Field. Participants track local native populations that are then entered into a nation-wide database.

"FrogWatch USA is AZA's citizen science program and provides individuals, groups, and families opportunities to learn about wetlands in their communities by reporting on the calls of local frogs and toads."
